Load-bearing core
A reinforced internal metal frame forms the primary protective volume and works independently from upholstery and decorative furniture elements.
Product concept
Safety Capsule combines the everyday function and appearance of a bed with an integrated reinforced internal space. The external furniture layer can evolve while the protective principle remains consistent.
Architecture
The concept separates the load-bearing protective core from the furniture shell. The structural frame works as an independent part of the product, while finishes, sleeping width and furniture details adapt around the same core principle.
A reinforced internal metal frame forms the primary protective volume and works independently from upholstery and decorative furniture elements.
Headboard, upholstery, colours and decorative panels change to suit different interiors without altering the load-bearing core or the way the structure works.
The primary protective function relies on geometry, materials and structural strength. It requires no electricity, sensors, electronics or network connection.
The capsule entrance is open and direct, with no doors, powered systems or complex transformation. Inside are soft contact surfaces and space for an independent flashlight, water and a basic first-aid kit.

The range consists of three size configurations built around the same structural principle and designed to use standard off-the-shelf mattresses.
The commercial line is currently conceived as three stable size configurations using the same underlying principle.

Safety Capsule
The single configuration uses standard off-the-shelf mattresses. Standard sizes: 80×200, 90×200 and 100×200 cm. The protective capsule sits beneath the sleeping surface, while the upper support frame matches the selected mattress size.

Safety Capsule
The double configuration uses two separate protective capsules beneath one standard double mattress. The capsules are positioned to suit the selected width, while the upper support frame defines the overall sleeping size. Standard sizes: 140×200, 150×200, 160×200, 180×200 and 200×200 cm.

Safety Capsule
The child configuration uses standard children’s mattresses. Core sizes: 80×160, 80×180, 90×190 and 90×200 cm. The shorter format keeps the same passive protective-space principle in proportions suited to a child’s bed.
Early Access →Design principles
From the outside, this is a complete contemporary bed with familiar proportions, calm geometry, soft forms and rounded edges. Each configuration matches a standard mattress size, so it uses an ordinary off-the-shelf mattress rather than a custom one.
The load-bearing core is made from structural metal tubing, while the outer furniture layer uses materials typical of conventional beds: upholstery, padded elements and decorative panels. Interior contact surfaces are softly lined to reduce impact risk and make the protected space more comfortable.
There is no built-in electricity, electronics, sensors or motorised mechanism. The set includes an independent flashlight, with space inside for water and a basic first-aid kit. The protective function does not depend on mains power.
The capsule entrance is open and accessible without doors, powered systems or complex transformation. Inside is usable space for a person, soft contact surfaces and essential items positioned within easy reach.
Finishes use neutral, calm colours and textures that fit naturally into a residential interior. The external appearance can change with the room style without altering the load-bearing core or the protective principle.
In everyday use, it is a normal bed with a standard mattress. Beneath the sleeping surface is a reinforced protective space that can be accessed quickly in an emergency. The primary protective function comes from a passive metal structure, without dependence on electricity or automation.
